Trojan horses (computer) is a program which creates malicious activities on your computer. It can be a trojan virus or a trojan worm in the fact that these two types of trojans create malicious activities on your computer.
There are many different type of activities trojan horses can perform. They include
1. Downloading other forms of malware on your computer
2. Accessing a server from the web
3. Creating a backdoor to your computer
One of the most widely spread trojans is the trojan.vundo virus, which is used to download advertisements onto your computer.
Trojan.Vundo is generally cured with most antivirus scanners
